PECAN SPREAD

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese,
softened
2 Tbsp. cream
1/2 c. sour cream
1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar dried beef,
shredded
1/4 c. finely diced green
pepper
2 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Cream together cream cheese, cream and sour cream. Stir
into cheese mixture the beef, green pepper, onion and garlic
powder. Brown 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans in 2 table-
spoons butter. Stir 1 cup pecans into cheese mixture. Place
in small casserole. Sprinkle remaining nuts over top. Bake 20
minutes at 350 degrees. Serve hot with crackers or any snack food.
Freezes well but do not bake before freezing. Bring to room
temperature before baking as directed.
