SPICED PINEAPPLE 2 (15 oz.) cans pineapple chunks 3/4 c. vinegar 1 1/4 c. sugar dash of salt 8 whole cloves 1 (4-inch) stick cinnamon Drain pineapple, reserving 3/4 cup juice. Add vinegar, sugar, salt, cloves and cinnamon to reserved syrup. Pour into saucepan, heat 10 minutes. Add pineapple chunks. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cool. Chill until serving time. Drain pineapple. Place on serving dish or serve in syrup with wooden toothpicks.
