24 medium cucumbers
1/2 c. pickling salt
8 c. water
1 tsp. curry powder
2 c. white vinegar
2 1/2 c. white sugar
1/4 c. mustard seed
1 Tbsp. celery seed
Wash cucumbers; cube and slice thinly. Drain. Combine
salt and water. Pour over cucumbers; let stand 5 hours.
Drain; rinse thoroughly. Mix remaining ingredients; heat to
boiling. Pour over cucumbers. Heat to boiling and pack into
sterilized jars, pouring liquid over pickles. Seal at once.
Process 5 minutes.
