SPICY PEACH SALAD

1 (16 oz.) can sliced peaches
6 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
2 (3 oz.) pkg. peach Jell-O
1/4 c. pecans
1 c. orange juice

Drain peaches, reserving juice. Cut peaches into
chunks. Set aside. Combine juices, cloves and cinnamon sticks
in saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 10 min-
utes. Strain syrup. Add enough boiling water to make 2 cups.
Dissolve gelatin in hot syrup. Stir in 1 1/2 cups cold water.
Chill until thick and syrupy. Fold in peaches and pecans.
Turn into greased 4 cup mold. Chill until set. Makes 6 to 8
servings.
