FROSTED FRUIT SALAD 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jell-O 1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O 2 c. hot water 2 c. fruit juice 1 small can Mandarin oranges 1 small can crushed pineapple 3 bananas 1 c. whipped cream or 2 c. Cool Whip 1/2 c. sharp cheese Topping: 1/4 c. sugar 2 Tbsp. flour 1 Tbsp. butter 3/4 c. orange juice 1 egg, slightly beaten 2 Tbsp. vinegar 1/2 tsp. salt Dissolve gelatins in hot water. Add fruit juice, pineapple and oranges. Cool and add bananas. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. When gelatin is set, frost with topping. Mix topping ingredients together and cook until smooth and thick. Cool. Fold in 1 cup whipped cream or 2 cups Cool Whip. Spread over salad and sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheese. Cut in squares and serve. Makes 15 servings.
