RED AND WHITE LAYER SALAD

Red Layer:

3 oz. raspberry or strawberry
Jell-O
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. raspberries or
strawberries, partially
thawed

White Layer:
16 marshmallows
1 c. hot milk
3 oz. lemon Jell-O
1 c. crushed pineapple
1 c. boiling water
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 c. whipped topping

To make red layer: Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add berries and pour into dish. When partially set, add white
layer.
To make white layer: Dissolve marshmallows in hot (not
boiling) milk. Cool. Dissolve lemon gelatin in boiling water
and add it to cream cheese. Mix well. Fold in pineapple.
When gelatin has started to set, fold it into marshmallows and
milk mixture; fold in whipped topping mix. Pour over red
layer. Makes 12 servings.
