CRANBERRY CANDLE SALAD

8 (6 oz.) fruit juice cans
1 (1 lb.) can Ocean Spray
whole cranberry sauce
1 c. boiling water
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 apple or orange, diced
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange, red or
yellow gelatin
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. chopped walnuts

Heat cranberries; drain. Set aside. Dissolve gelatin
in hot juice and water. Add salt and lemon juice. Chill until
will drop from spoon in a blob. Beat in mayonnaise until light
and fluffy. Fold in cranberries and nuts. Divide mixture into
the eight fruit juice cans. Set. Unmold on lettuce. Cut
birthday candles in half and insert into top of candle salad.
Light just before guests sit down. Makes 8 servings.
