FROSTED FRUIT SALAD 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jell-O 1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O 2 c. boiling water 1 c. cold water 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1 (13 oz.) can Mandarin oranges 2 bananas Topping: 2 Tbsp. flour 1 c. pineapple juice 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. sugar 1 egg, well beaten 1 c. whipped cream or 2 c. Cool Whip Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Add cold water and fruit. Do not add bananas if it is too hot or they will discolor. Pour into 8 x 13-inch pan. When Jell-O is set, top with the following: Boil together flour, pineapple juice, salt, sugar and egg. Boil until it thickens. Cool. Add whipped cream or Cool Whip. Spread on salad and refrigerate. Makes 15 servings.
