CARAMEL CORN 2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. white syrup 1 jar dry roasted peanuts 1 c. butter or margarine 1 tsp. soda 1 to 1 1/2 c. popcorn, popped Boil sugar, butter and syrup for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add soda. Pour over popcorn and nuts and stir. Put in oven at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. I use 2 roasting pans for ease in stirring.
