PINEAPPLE UPSIDE-DOWN CAKE

4 slices pineapple
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. chopped nuts
2 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. warm milk
1 1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. butter

Melt butter in skillet; sprinkle brown sugar and nuts
over butter, then add pineapple. Pour cake dough over pineap-
ple. Bake slowly for 25 to 30 minutes.
Dough: Beat eggs until light. Add sugar, then flour
and baking powder. Add warm milk and butter. Then add teaspoon
vanilla. Bake slowly for 25 to 30 minutes. Top with whip
cream.
