PINEAPPLE UPSIDE-DOWN CAKE 4 slices pineapple 1 c. brown sugar 3/4 c. chopped nuts 2 Tbsp. butter 2 eggs 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. warm milk 1 1/3 c. flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 Tbsp. butter Melt butter in skillet; sprinkle brown sugar and nuts over butter, then add pineapple. Pour cake dough over pineap- ple. Bake slowly for 25 to 30 minutes. Dough: Beat eggs until light. Add sugar, then flour and baking powder. Add warm milk and butter. Then add teaspoon vanilla.
