FRUIT COCKTAIL DESSERT
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can fruit cocktail juice
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts
Sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt. Put the egg
in a bowl and beat with fork. Add 1 can of fruit cocktail
juice and all dry ingredients; mix well. Pour into a buttered
and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Top with brown sugar and 1/2 cup
of nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with whipped
cream if desired.
