BOHEMIAN KOLACKY Here is a sugar cookie dough that uses a small amount of sugar! This rolls out well and is fun to cut into shapes for the holidays. 2 c. flour 2 Tbsp. sugar 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. butter, softened 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 2 medium-size eggs, well beaten Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside. In large bowl cream butter and cheese until well blended. Stir in flour mixture. Add eggs; mixing to form a stiff dough. Chill until firm enough to roll out; several hours or overnight. Roll out 1/4 of dough at a time on lightly floured surface, preferably with stockinette-covered rolling pin to slightly less than 1/4 inch thickness (keep remainder chilled). Cut in desired shapes; smaller cutters of approxi- mately 1 3/4 inches work the best. Cookies may be decorated with sprinkles or place a small drop (1/4 teaspoon) preserves in the center. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 375 degrees oven about 15 minutes or until golden. Remove to racks to cool. Makes about 78. *BLKLIN This is a recipe from our database at Cookbooks On/Line! 1,000,000+ free recipes and free software at: http://www.cookbooks.com Accuracy is believed to be good, but is not guaranteed.
