CHOCOLATE PUDDING CAKE 2 c. flour 1 3/4 c. sugar 4 Tbsp. cocoa 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. milk 4 Tbsp. oleo, melted 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. chopped pecans 2/3 c. sugar 6 Tbsp. cocoa 2 1/2 c. hot water Sift flour, 1 3/4 cups sugar, 4 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, melted oleo and vanilla. Add nuts. Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Combine the 2/3 cup sugar and 6 tablespoons cocoa; sprinkle over batter in cake pan. Pour the hot water over this. Bake in 350 degrees oven 35 to 40 minutes. This mixture looks very strange at first. The water and dry mixture get together and form a yummy pudding sauce under the cake!
