CARAMEL CORN

6 qt. popped corn
nuts (optional)
1 c. butter or margarine
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Karo syrup
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter in heavy saucepan; add sugar, syrup and
salt. Bring to boil and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour
over popped corn and mix well. Bake in oven for 1 hour at
250 degrees, stirring every 15 to 20 minutes. Enjoy!!!!
