GINGERBREAD MAN MODELING DOUGH 3 1/3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. ginger 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. molasses 1 egg 1 Tbsp. water Mix flour, baking soda, salt and spices together. Cream butter, sugar, molasses, egg and water. Add flour mixture gradually to form a dough. Add additional flour, kneading with hands to make a workable "play-dough" type consistency. Children may use without flour to model figures, animals, flowers. Decorate with red hots, M&M's, raisins, candy corn, etc. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. After cooling, kids may decorate with canned aerosol-type frosting. Great fun!
