CHERRY COBBLER 1 stick butter 1 c. self-rising flour 1 c. sugar 1 c. milk 3 to 4 c. sweetened cherries Melt butter in 9 x 13-inch dish. Make batter of flour, sugar and milk (batter will be thin). Sweeten cherries (or strawberries) to taste. Pour batter into middle of butter; then pour sweetened fruit on top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees until crust rises to top and browns, approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
