FRUIT MILK SHAKE 3 c. ripe fresh fruit in season or canned fruit in light or natural syrup 1 c. water or fruit juice 8 ice cubes 1/2 c. nonfat dry milk Note: One-half teaspoon vanilla extract may be added. Peel fruit (if necessary). Cut into pieces and mash with a fork. Crush ice cubes. (One way is to place them in a heavy plastic bag and use a rolling pin or hammer.) Blend fruit, milk powder and liquid with a beater. Add crushed ice and blend again. Serves 4.
