HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD 1/2 lb. bacon, fried crisp and crumbled 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 Tbsp. flour 2 Tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. celery seed 1/2 c. white vinegar 1 c. water 4 to 5 hot boiled potatoes Saute onions in bacon drippings. Add flour, sugar, salt and celery seed. Stir, gradually add water and vinegar, stirring until smooth. Slice potatoes into casserole dish. Layer with bacon and sauce. Bake 10 to 15 minutes at 325 degrees or can be put in a slow cooker for an hour.
