1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. ground turmeric
5 c. shredded cabbage
3/4 c. chopped onion
Combine vinegar, sugar, mustard seed, celery seed, salt
and turmeric in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring
occasionally until mixture boils. Cool to room temperature.
Combine cabbage and onion in bowl, pour mixture over, tossing
to coat. Cover and chill overnight.
