CHILI

1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion chopped
2 to 4 (15 oz.) can kidney
beans
1 to 2 (16 oz.) can whole
tomatoes, cut into chunks
1 (8 oz.) bottle cheap ketchup
1 can beer
1 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder

Brown ground beef and chopped onion. Drain excess fat;
add bean and juice, tomatoes (cut and juice), ketchup, beer and
chili powder. Let simmer at low boil for 2 to 4 hours, until
it looks like chili instead of soup. Stir occasionally.
Serve topped with grated Cheddar cheese and chopped raw
onion, cornbread on the side.
