LU'S LAYERED GREEN SALAD 1/2 head lettuce, chopped 1 pkg. frozen peas 1 chopped onion 1/2 c. chopped green onions 2 c. celery 2 c. mayo 8 to 10 slices crisp crumbled bacon 4 to 5 hard-boiled eggs, chopped 5 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated Starting with lettuce, using clear bowl, layer as listed: peas, onion, green onions, celery, bacon, boiled eggs and cheese. Cover; refrigerate 24 hours to insure distribution of flavors. Use onions to your taste. Do not mix mayo into salad; spread on top, then top with cheese.
