CLAM CHOWDER 4 strips bacon 1 large onion, minced 3 Tbsp. flour 2 cans chopped clams 2 c. diced potato 1 small can milk Saute bacon in soup pot. Remove bacon. Saute onion in drippings. Add flour, blending well. Stir in liquid from clams. Add potatoes and water to cover. Simmer until potatoes are tender. Add bacon and clams. Heat through. Add milk. Do not boil after adding milk.
