3 c. water
1 1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. minced onion
2 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
instant mashed potatoes for 5
4 slices process Swiss cheese,
cut in thin strips (3 or
4 oz.)

In a saucepan, combine water, milk, onion, butter, salt
and pepper. Bring to a boil and stir in potato granules and
cheese. Heat, stirring, until the cheese melts. Season to
taste. Top with snipped chives before serving. Makes 5
servings. (Good with "Franks 'N Rolls".)
