CRANBERRY SALAD

1 lb. fresh or frozen
cranberries, ground up
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 (1 lb.) can crushed
pineapple
1 1/2 c. miniature
marshmallows
4 bananas, sliced
1 c. heavy cream or Cool Whip
1 tsp. sugar

Combine berries, 1 1/4 cups sugar and pineapple in a
bowl. Mix well. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Add marshmal-
lows and bananas. Stir until mixed. Combine heavy cream or
Cool Whip and remaining sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix until soft
peaks form, if using heavy cream, when beaters are pulled up.
Fold into berry-banana mixture. Refrigerate until ready to
serve.
