LONG LASTING SLAW 1 large cabbage, shredded, grated or sliced 4 medium onions, chopped 1 bell pepper, chopped 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 tsp. turmeric 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. white vinegar 1 1/2 c. sugar Boil celery seed, mustard, turmeric, salt, vinegar and sugar. Pour over cabbage, onions and pepper. When cool; put in refrigerator in covered container. Let stand 12 hours. Keeps 2 weeks or longer.
