ONION SOUP AU GRATIN 4 large onions, sliced extremely thin 2 Tbsp. butter 1 qt. water 6 bouillon cubes 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/8 tsp. pepper French or Italian bread Parmesan cheese Mozzarella cheese Brown 4 large onions in 2 tablespoons butter until tender over low-medium heat. Add 1 quart water and 6 bouillon cubes. Add Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil and pour into individual casseroles or crocks. Place on top of soup: French of Italian bread (toasted), 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese and handful of Mozzarella cheese. Place under broiler for 1 or 2 minutes until cheese is light brown.
