TWENTY-FOUR HOUR SALAD

3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. sugar
dash of salt
2 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. pineapple juice
1 Tbsp. butter
1 c. cream, whipped
2 c. white Queen Anne cherries
2 c. pineapple
2 c. tiny marshmallows
2 oranges, cut in pieces

Cook in double boiler or microwave yolks, sugar, salt,
vinegar, juice and butter. Cook and stir until thick. Cool
until cold. Fold in whipped cream. Remove seeds from cherries
and cut in half. Peel oranges, remove seeds and cut into small
pieces. Combine fruit and marshmallows in bowl. Pour whipped
cream mixture over fruit and mix well. Cover and chill at
least 24 hours. This is great for holiday dinners or family
picnics!
