SLAW SALAD

1 Tbsp. gelatin
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. pineapple juice
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
pinch of salt
1 egg yolk

Soak gelatin, water and sugar together 5 minutes. Cook
pineapple juice, lemon juice, salt and egg yolk together and
add gelatin. Stir and let start to thicken. Then fold in 1/2
cup whipped cream, 1/2 cup grated carrot, 2 cups cabbage, 4
slices pineapple (cut up) or size 13 1/2 can tidbits. Pour
into 8 x 8-inch pan and chill. Cut in squares and serve on
lettuce leaves, if desired.
