TWENTY FOUR HOUR SALAD|
3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. sugar
dash of salt
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. pineapple syrup
2 c. miniature marshmallows
2 c. oranges, cut up
2 c. green grapes, cut
2 c. pineapple bits, drained
1 c. cream (whipped)
Cook egg yolks, sugar, salt, vinegar, pineapple syrup
and butter in double boiler until thick. Cool, fold in whipped
cream, grapes, marshmallows, pineapple and oranges. Chill 24
hours. Decorate if desired with orange sections, 1/2 slice of
pineapple and maraschino cherries.
