1 1/2 qt. water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped
3/4 c. finely chopped onion
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Accent
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. garlic powder
8 oz. Velveeta cheese
1 c. milk
1 c. light cream
1/4 c. butter
1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. cold water

Bring water to boil. Add broccoli and onion and boil 10
to 12 minutes. I usually cut the broccoli with my kitchen
shears so there aren't any big pieces. Add seasonings and
cheese (broken up). Stir until cheese melts. Add milk, cream
and butter. Stir and bring back to boil. After making a
smooth mixture of flour and water, add to hot mixture slowly,
stirring rapidly. Cook and stir until soup is consistency of
heavy cream. Serves 8 to 10.
