ICEBERG RING 1 large box lime jello 1/2 tsp. salt 2 c. boiling water 1 1/2 c. cold water 2 Tbsp. vinegar 3 c. coarsely chopped iceberg lettuce 1/4 c. thinly sliced green onion Dissolve jello in boiling water with salt. Stir in cold water and vinegar. Chill until mixture is slightly thickened. Fold in lettuce and green onion. Pour into 5 cup ring mold and chill until firm, about 3 hours. (If you don't have a ring mold, use a 9 x 9 x 2-inch square pan. And if you're on a diet, use two 4 serving packages of lo-cal lime jello.)
