1 large box lime jello
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. cold water
2 Tbsp. vinegar
3 c. coarsely chopped iceberg
1/4 c. thinly sliced green
Dissolve jello in boiling water with salt. Stir in cold
water and vinegar. Chill until mixture is slightly thickened.
Fold in lettuce and green onion. Pour into 5 cup ring mold and
chill until firm, about 3 hours. (If you don't have a ring
mold, use a 9 x 9 x 2-inch square pan. And if you're on a
diet, use two 4 serving packages of lo-cal lime jello.)
