GERMAN CABBAGE SLAW 1 medium head cabbage 1 egg, beaten 1 Tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 3 Tbsp. vinegar 1 Tbsp. butter 3 Tbsp. sour cream Grate cabbage. Soak in ice water. In saucepan, mix egg, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper. Beat until well blended. Add vinegar and butter and cook slowly until thick. Chill and add sour cream.
