MARINATED GARDEN SALAD|
1 can Shoe Peg corn
1 can French style green beans
1 can LeSueur green peas
1 small jar pimentos
1 bunch green onions, sliced
1 c. grated carrot (optional)
1 c. celery, chopped
Drain all vegetables and put them in a bowl with a
1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
salt and pepper
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1 Tbsp. water
Heat the oil, sugar and vinegar in a pan. Let cool;
pour over vegetables. Let stand for 3 or 4 hours. Will keep
for several days in the refrigerator.
