1 head cabbage
1 green pepper
1 carrot
1 onion
1 Tbsp. salt
2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed (optional)

Shred or grate cabbage, pepper, carrot and onion. Soak
30 minutes in 2 cups water with salt. Combine vinegar, water,
sugar and celery seed. Boil 1 minute and let cool. Drain
cabbage mixture; add vinegar solution and refrigerate.
