1/2 lettuce (as much as
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. salad oil
1 clove minced garlic
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 small grated onion
Pour dressing on salad greens and toss. Add whole
Dressing: Combine sugar, vinegar, salt and dry mustard;
mix with electric mixer. Slowly add the salad oil, then add
the celery seed and grated onion. Continue beating. Store in
