1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 clove garlic
1/2 medium green pepper
1 (15 oz.) can kidney beans
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
Brown ground beef and onion, adding pepper and garlic.
Then add kidney beans, tomato sauce, salt and chili powder.
Simmer, stirring occasionally for 45 minutes. Makes four
