WINTER SALAD

1 bunch broccoli, cut in small
pieces
1 small head cauliflower, cut
in small pieces
1 medium red onion, sliced
thin, separated into rings
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms,
sliced
1/4 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 lb. bacon, fried, drained
and crumbled
1/4 c. toasted, slivered
almonds

Mix vegetables, raisins if desired, and crumbled bacon
together gently. Blend dressing ingredients thoroughly. Fold
dressing into vegetable mixture and refrigerate 1 to 2 hours
before serving. Sprinkle with almonds before serving. Makes 8
to 10 servings.

Dressing:
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
3 Tbsp. vinegar
1/3 c. sugar
