EASY CLAM CHOWDER|
6 slices bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 small cans clams
1/2 tsp. dill weed
dash of pepper
1/2 c. flour
4 c. milk
1 bag frozen hash brown
Saute bacon until almost done; add onion and celery and
saute until tender. Stir in flour and cook over low heat, but
do not allow to brown. Slowly add milk and stir until boiling.
Add clams, including juice, and spices. Return to boil.
Simmer 15 minutes. Add potatoes and simmer 15 minutes more.
Yields 6 servings.
