7 LAYER LETTUCE SALAD

Layer 1: Tear lettuce in small pieces to 1/2 fill 9 x
13-inch pan.
Layer 2: One-half cup chopped celery (medium fine).
Layer 3: One-half cup chopped green onion (or more to
taste).
Layer 4: One-fourth cup chopped green pepper.
Layer 5: One box frozen peas, cooked and cooled. Layer
the above ingredients in order on the lettuce, then mix togeth-
er and spread the following:

1/2 pt. salad dressing
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
Layer 6: Seven to eight slices bacon, cooked crisp and
crumbled.
Layer 7: Four ounces grated Cheddar cheese. Cover
tightly and refrigerate overnight.
