LAYERED SALAD

1 head lettuce
4 green onions, cut in
1/4-inch pieces, tops too
1 c. sliced celery
1 c. diced green pepper
1 pkg. frozen (small) peas,
thawed
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise or Miracle
Whip
6 slices cooked, crisp bacon,
cut into 1-inch pieces or a
sprinkling of imitation
bacon bits
3 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
and grated Cheddar for
topping
1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian
seasonings

Use a 9 x 13-inch glass casserole dish and chop the
lettuce into small pieces. This is the first layer. Sprinkle
each layer with Italian seasonings (dry). Mix the mayonnaise
or Miracle Whip with 3 ounces Parmesan cheese; spread over the
top and sprinkle about 1 cup of grated Cheddar cheese over all.
You may want to try just half of a packet the first time.
Remember, spritzle a little over each layer.
