FREEZER SLAW 1 medium head cabbage, shredded 1 pepper, chopped or diced 1 carrot, chopped or diced 1 tsp. salt 1 c. vinegar 1/4 c. water 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. mustard seed 1 tsp. celery seed Mix salt in cabbage, carrot and pepper. Let stand for one hour. Drain and squeeze out extra moisture. Mix together vinegar, sugar, water, celery seed and mustard seed and boil 1 minute. Cool to lukewarm. Pour over cabbage mixture and freeze. Thaw before eating.
