1 c. sugar
3 c. water
1 large can crushed pineapple
1 large can red tart cherries
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. Coca-Cola (room
3 small pkg. cherry jello
1/2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
8 oz. cream cheese
1 large container Cool Whip
pinch of salt
Bring water, sugar and juice from cherries to boil.
Dissolve jello in this mixture. Add cherries, nuts, drained
pineapple and Coca-Cola. Chill until firm.
Add sugar, salt and flour; slowly add reserved pineapple
juice to make a smooth paste. Add beaten egg and cook over low
heat until very thick. Cover and set aside to chill. Cream
the cream cheese until smooth. Add Cool Whip and beat until
smooth. Add pineapple mixture. Spread over jello mixture.
