MICROWAVE FRUIT COMPOTE
1 c. peeled, sliced apples
1 (8 oz.) can sliced pears,
1 (8 oz.) can peach or apricot
halves, with liquid
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. each cinnamon and
1 c. pitted prunes
Combine all ingredients in 1 1/2 quart glass casserole.
Cover and microwave 15 to 20 minutes on Low/Defrost (30 per
cent power), stirring every 5 minutes until apples are tender.
Let stand covered 3 minutes. Puree enough for the baby in
