JELLO FRUIT SALAD

1 (6 oz.) strawberry jello
1 medium Cool Whip
1 small can crushed pineapple
in own juice
2 medium large semi-ripened
bananas
1 small container frozen
sliced strawberries
1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped nuts

In a bowl, combine crushed pineapple that has been
drained of juice, bananas mashed up, thawed strawberries and
chopped nuts. Stir until mixed well together. Empty package
of strawberry jello into separate bowl; mix with specified
amount of boiling water only. Do Not add cold water. Let
jello mixture cool. Add fruit mixture to jello and stir
together. In 9 x 13-inch baking dish, pour 1/2 of jello
mixture. Then spoon and spread Cool Whip on top of layer
of jello (should have about 1/2-inch layer of Cool Whip
spread). Then add the rest of jello mixture on top of Cool
Whip layer; add rest of jello slowly. Refrigerate and con-
geal.
