CREAM OF BROCCOLI SOUP|
3/4 stick butter
3/4 c. flour
3 or 4 cans chicken broth or
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3 boxes chopped broccoli,
defrosted but not cooked
2 pt. heavy whipping cream
1 pt. sour cream
In saucepan over low heat, blend butter and flour. Add
more butter if too pasty (should be smooth). Add consomme.
Stir, dissolving any lumps. Add garlic powder and broccoli.
Stir in cream and sour cream. Taste test. Try with asparagus
