POTATO SOUP

6 slices bacon, diced
1 onion
1 stalk celery
4 or 5 diced potatoes, cooked
1 can condensed chicken broth
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. flour
salt and pepper

Brown bacon in heavy saucepan. Remove bacon bits and
all of drippings except about 2 tablespoons. Cook celery and
onion in drippings until soft. Add chicken broth and potatoes.
Bring to a boil. Add milk and thicken with flour, if neces-
sary. Bring back to boil and remove from heat immediately.
Add bacon bits and serve.
