SCOTTISH RITE BEAN SOUP|
1 can Great Northern beans
1 lb. cut-up ham
1 lb. cup-up stew beef
1 1/2 c. tomatoes
3/4 c. green peppers
1/2 c. onions
1 c. celery
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Place ham and beef in large pot, cover with water and
cook until done. Remove meat and cool. Add beans to broth,
cook 2 hours. Add remaining ingredients and season to taste.
Add meat to soup and simmer. Serves 10.
