BANANA SALAD

bananas, cut bite-size
peanuts, crushed

Dressing:
1 c. sugar
2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
2 egg yolks
1/2 c. cold milk
1 1/2 c. warm milk
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar and cornstarch. Make center in this, then add
egg yolks. Add cold milk and mix well. Then add warm milk and
salt. Cook until thick. Add vanilla. Cool, then add to
bananas and peanuts. Alternate bananas, dressing, then nuts,
ending with nuts on top.
