MACEDOINE FRANCAISE

2 c. seedless green grapes
2 c. cubed pineapple
2 c. halved strawberries
2 c. melon balls
2 c. sliced bananas
2 oranges, peeled and
sectioned
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. Madeira
1/3 c. cognac
lemon sherbet

Combine fruit in a large bowl. Combine sugar, Madeira
and cognac; pour over fruit. Chill until ready to serve. Top
each serving with a scoop of lemon sherbet. Yield: About 15
servings.
