7 LAYER JELLO SALAD

4 (3 oz.) pkg. Jell-O (each a
different color)
water
2 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
2 c. milk
2 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Make each color gelatin, using 1 cup hot water and 1/2
cup cold water each. Pour 1 color into 9 x 13-inch pan. Chill
until firm. Prepare white filling. Soften gelatin in 1/2 cup
cold water. Heat milk to boiling and pour into bowl. Add sour
cream and softened gelatin. Add sugar and vanilla and beat 5
minutes with rotary beater. Makes 6 cups. Pour 2 cups filling
over set gelatin (layers will be thin). Chill. Continue until
Jello-O and filling are used. Make day ahead.
